A chic hotel in a magnificent location, everything was perfectly fine. The room was top-class & nice modern. Savoury breakfast with tea and fruit was provided. Location: the property was just off the pretty walks around the headland.

the breakfast was savoury and tasty and there were a great selection of options. the double room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was decent size and airy with a balcony.

Consider reserving a room on the second floor for better views of the bay, as lower levels may have obstructed sightlines.

A nice stylish, boutique looking hotel with a nice amount of character. It had a very nice big shower.
The room was a bit small and the bed a little hard.

The Hotel De La Vallee is an absolute delight and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Firstly, its as pretty as a picture set on the sea front but in a nice quiet location just a few minutes walk from the main beaches and town. The Hotel is very modern, the bar, restaurant and rooms all decorated in a smart contemporary style. Our room was exactly as advertised, spacious and sparkling clean. I couldn't find any fault with the hotel, This is advertised as 3* , I have stayed in 4* Hotels in France that don't come close to this Hotel.

This is a very pleasant hotel and I would heartily recommend it. The rooms are not huge, as one would expect in a hotel of this size (we had one on the 'cliff side), but the staff are very, very nice and it has a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant is, again as one would expect in a hotel restaurant in France, not cheap, but the food is excellent. Breakfast could perhaps be a little more extensive and more storage for clothes/minibar would be good, but these are rather minor things. The lady in charge, and other staff, are very professional.

Location, friendly staff, nice room. Only complaint was that breakfast was expensive and we prefer it when breakfast is included.
Breakfast expensive.

Lovely terrace off room for drinks, but dining options limited when we arrived.

From the moment we arrived, we felt as if we were family. At all times, every one of the staff was immediately responsive and went above and beyond. As an example, we arrived with wrinkled clothes we had to wear the next day to a wedding, which the clerk agreed to have pressed for us. Not only were they beautifully done, but were returned to the room within six hours of our arrival. Very gracious at every turn.
It's a bit of a hike up a hill to go anywhere on foot, but hey, the scenery on the way up and down is diverting enough to make it a lovely walk. The placement of the hotel up against the wall of a cliff also limits the views, and even waterside views face the wrong general direction in the visual scheme of things, so that explains the lower price point for value... A compensation that makes the deal more than reasonable.
